Dwayne Rourke: What I consider to be one of the most important journeys of my life was to a retreat at the Ojai Foundation located in the upper Ojai Valley, two hours north of Los Angeles. Titled ENGAGING AMERICAN BUDDHISM: Retreat and Experiment for Artists with Thich Nhat Hahn, the event took place May 1-12, 1987. As a participnt in the retreat , I came into spontaneous community under the guidance of Thich Nhat Hahn, a wise elder once nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by Matin Luther King Jr. The following videos reveal much of what this humble monk brings to the world.
